Bicycle Repair in Stevenage and surrounding area

The family has a number of bikes. They are more modern than the bikes of my youth, and should be more reliable, but somehow they are not. The main cause of the problem seems to be the disappearance of the Sturmey Archer three-speed hub. Modern bikes usually have deraillieur gears with a double chainwheel and uncountable sprockets. These things are more trouble than they are worth, in my opinion, and, it seems, in the opinion of my two sons who have now both graduated from very flat university towns.

I bought a fixed-wheel, later converted to single-speed, bike for one of them. This required some adjustments and modifications. I have had some bad experience with local bicycle shops, so searched a bit more diligently for bicycle repair services and managed to find Bicycle SOS. Jem, for he is the guy who answers those SOS calls, came around very quickly and did a superb job.

I always prefer to by services locally, buy from providers who come to me, buy from operations which are not franchises, and buy from people who are professional and expert. Bicycle SOS meets all those criteria!
